Gender scan from 16 week to term
Purpose of the scan – this scan is for couples who cannot wait to find out whether baby will be a boy or a girl. This is the professional opinion of the Sonographer performing the scan at the time and can be difficult to assess due to foetal lie and position of umbilical cord. Although the scan is accurate, it is never 100% guaranteed.
From experience gender scans are not accurate before this time. 99.9 % accuracy.
